Hello, peachycakes.

Hello. I'm Paige Cynthia. I post quite frequently.

In Greek, “nostalgia” literally means “the pain from an old wound”. It’s a twinge in your heart, far more powerful than memory alone. This device isn’t a spaceship, it’s a time machine. It goes backwards and forwards, it takes us to a place where we ache to go again.

and all the ones who seem to fit the best into the chorus never notice there’s a song, and the ones who seem to hear it end up tortured by the words when they fail to find a way to sing along.

When I’m gone, you’re going to regret treating me this way.

I’m not fascinated by people who smile all the time. What I find interesting is the way people look when they are lost in thought, when their face becomes angry or serious, when they bite their lip, the way they glance, the way they look down when they walk, when they are alone and smoking a cigarette, when they smirk, the way they half smile, the way they try and hold back tears, the way when their face says they want to say something but can’t, the way they look at someone they want or love… I love the way people look when they do these things. It’s… beautiful.
